Wild Horse at Sunset over the Lower Salt River

The Lower Salt River is a beautiful river in the Tonto National Forest. The wild horse bands that frequent this area have a wonderful source of water and food in the river. They feed on the eelgrass that grows plentifully on the river bed, and use the river water to keep hydrated in the hot Arizona sun.
