Emirates Airlines A-380 Crossing the Moon
I enjoy spending time trying to align the moon with planes. In this case with planes flying the downwind leg of the landing pattern at Dubai International Airport, which goes right over the University of Sharjah where I used to work. Here an Emirates Airlines Airbus A-380, the world's largest airliner, is flying past the moon. I had been trying for several years to get this image and I finally got it, with several others once I learned the technique, in Sharjah. It is not easy coordinating two moving bodies into one photograph but it's a fun challenge.
