During the building of the Al Qasimia University Mosque, Sharjah, UAE, water collected after a rainstorm on an adjacent empty area allowing for this unique, and never-to-be-repeated image of the mosque reflecting in the water at night. The adjacent area is now developed.

Full Moon Setting behind Al Qasimia University Mosque

A man prays while the full moon sets between the minarets of the Al Qasimia Univeristy Mosque, Sharjah, UAE. It was my good luck that the man started to pray directly in line with the setting moon while I was setting up the photograph. Additionally, three birds flew in front of the moon as I was looking at it through my telephoto lens, so I quickly made the image while they were superimposed on the moon.
